研究概要
身体障害に関連した臨床研究、基礎研究、介入手段の開発をテーマに掲げています。
1) フィールドワークを主として対象者が抱える日常生活の課題を明らかにします。
2) 臨床データと脳イメージング装置を用いて疼痛および認知機能に関連する病態解明を行います。
3) 研究成果に基づいた課題解決策を社会へ広く発信します。
名古屋大学関連病院の診療科や全国の作業療法士と連携して、前向き多施設共同研究や研修会を企画しています。臨床志向の研究開発を行い、国内外を問わず多様な組織で活躍できる作業療法士の育成を目標とします。

The theme in our laboratory is clinical research, basic research, and development of interventional way in field of rehabilitation related to physical disability as follows:
1) Survey of functional and behavioral problems in client’s daily life
2) Brain function analysis combined with clinical assessment in pain and cognitive function
3) Development of de novo problem-oriented technology or skill
Our Laboratory has conducted prospective multi-center studies and workshops in cooperation with Nagoya University-affiliated hospitals and occupational therapists in Japan. Occupational therapists in our laboratory is expected to perform studies based on clinical question and to be active in any diversity of organization.
