Occupation therapy is a health and rehabilitation profession that helps people regain, develop, and build skills that are important for independent functioning, health, well-being, security, and happiness. Therapists of the kind work with people of all ages who, because of illness, injury, or developmental or psychological disability, need specialized assistance in learning skills to enable them to lead independent, productive, and satisfying lives.

Occupational therapy ultimately aims to improve clients' abilities to perform the occupational activities that are important to them.

Therefore, our curriculum provides a various understanding of basic and clinical medicine, assessment in occupational therapy, theory and treatment process, life skills and environment adaptation etc. The key concept in the educational philosophy of our department is the developmental sequencing of content and learning experiences related to professionalism, personal environment, and the occupational therapy process. Also students take clinical training in a variety of facility and community-based settings.

On successful completion of this curriculum, students are eligible to take the national examination to become a registered occupational therapist.
