According to the remarkable progress and expansion of the clinical field of modern radiology, a lot of new radiologic modalities (such as X-ray CT, computed radiography, digital subtraction angiography, magnetic resonance imaging, etc.) are being successively introduced into the field of clinical radiology. In order to respond to this situation, the education of radiological technology students should be directed to master not only the traditional radiographic technique, radiotherapy and nuclear medicine but also these modalities recently developed.

The purpose of the curriculum in this Department is to educate highly disciplined radiological technologists who have ample knowledge of their profession. For the first and second year, students are required to study the general education courses and some basic medical subjects. For the third and fourth year, specialized professional subjects associated with clinical training are provided.

All graduates are qualified as registered radiological technologists following their passing of the national examination for licensing.
